Field Trips: Camp MacLean

So last year a majority of the 7th graders went to Camp MacLean, a name that I hate spelling because it's spelled one way but pronounced the other. Anyways the trip there was pretty fun, talking about cows and how Tarak's cousin supposedly created about everything. When we got there everyone was a bit confused because of cabins but we sorted it out quick enough. After everyone was sorted we ended up doing some fun activities such as archery, rock climbing, and fishing. In between some of the activities we had lunch and dinner, which was mostly good besides the tomato soup. That was a disaster. Though the bread sticks were probably the best food item there, even though my group kept messing around with them and ended up eating all of the bread sticks they had to serve, oops.
Fun fact: our cabin members agreed we would be a small 'family', and Mia B was supposed to be the one responsible but ended up being least responsible during the night. Speaking of the night, we played capture the flag but it was rigged because the boys put their flag outside the boundary even though they weren't allowed to. It was sorta fun but it could've been better. When we went to rest Mrs.Conejo, our cabin supervisor,  had to go to a meeting thing so she left us alone for a while. It ended up being chaos, but not a first. First, we went in the back to tell ghost stories, but when that failed we played hide n seek. I tried hiding in a suitcase but that didn't work out so well. Then there was the problems with the spiders and moths. Three moths had gotten into our cabin somehow and everyone was panicking, so out of annoyance, I killed a moth by slapping it against the door. Everyone went quiet for a second, but only a second. As soon as they realized I wasn't scared of bugs, it was my duty to kill every single insect in the cabin. I killed as many as I could, but Mia's bed was an infestation of spiders. So what she did was bring her blanket over to the other side of the cabin between Aleks and I's bed, laid some chairs down, and slept there. The ironic part was that Mia was so scared of the spiders but had a blanket that had a spider pattern on it. After that everything else was pretty fun so I have nothing to complain about.
Anyways that was my favorite field trip within the time I've been at Golf. I know this is a really late update, about a week late, but whatever. See you in a few days when I have to update again about 3 famous people I would like to meet. Bye-bye~!
