My Graduation Speech

Hey guys. Before I start I just want to let you all know I'm not going to be all formal because that sorta gives me an awkward feeling and restricts what I really want to say.  Now that that's clarified I'll begin.

I came to Golf in 6th grade about 3 days late, so that didn't give me any confidence whatsoever. I didn't know anybody either so that didn't help. Mrs. Feinstein knew that, of course, so she led me outside to meet Kylie. I guess you can say Kylie was the first person that I met at Golf. Kylie was nice, as usual, and she introduced me to everyone who had come over to say "Hello." Thanks to her, I got to know a majority of the people at this school and some of my good friends. From then on I went to make more of my friends on my own that are still my good friends today. I think the thing I enjoyed most that year was volleyball. The team was mostly 7th graders but a select few 6th graders ended up making the team. (Yes, I'm bragging, sue me.)

Fast forward a year, 7th grade began. Although this year was deathly boring I need to say something about it so I guess friends got closer than they were before and some just drifted from each other and that's life. People will come and go in your life but what can you do. Also camp MacLean was fun. Okay now that that's out of the way we can move onto 8th grade.

There's a lot of things I want to say about 8th grade. I guess I'll start off by saying this year was probably my favorite year of all time. I made some good memories from the beginning of the year all the way up until now, which is about the end of the year. My favorite memories are mostly from of Battle of the books, the girls volleyball team, some of my favorite classes, and most of all my great friends and classmates. Battle of the books was always fun during meetings and usually was just us all having a good time. We'd eat and talk about the randomest things, such as pokémon. I also remember the times where those who were interested came to Mrs. Joyner's room and would watch the latest season of Sherlock for those who hadn't caught up with it.

Another thing was math class, specifically my table which included Tarak, Selma, Zoey, Sebin, and Wajeeh. Our table would always find was to chat up a storm with Mr. Carro from what was a square or disliking the letter n to naming people foods. We'd tease Mr. Carro and usually ended up being teased back which was alright because we always ended up laughing. I won't go much into detail with the foods thing but I will say a certain someone at our table has given Mr. Carro the name "Papaya" because he supposedly looks like one.

Social studies is always fun because Mr. Carris is teaching it. We all really missed him when he was out for a while but were so happy when he finally came back. We can talk about almost anything and it wouldn't be dull, such as the bay of pigs. 8/10 times you'll hear Hapipa and Noor doing whatever they do but most the time they're muted by our random conversations that start for no reason.

Now these classes wouldn't be fun without the students in them. Even though I can give a bit of an attitude when it comes to you guys, I would never trade you for another class. You guys are the funniest, weirdest, and most chill people I've met. You guys make coming to school enjoyable and there's never a dull moment, even when writing essays. Ok well maybe writing essays is dull but that's only because it's an essay, y'know? Whatever you get my point. Anyways I would also like to appreciate all my friends who helped me get through the year and were always there for me. They always know how to make me feel better and some are a little bit sassy when I forget to give them hugs but I love them very much. I know they'll stick up for me when needed and I'll be so sad to see them go one day. I'll most definitely miss you guys when we go to high school and I wish you the best of luck next year. Don't get into too much trouble and don't make fools of yourselves because we're going to be the youngest ones next year so it'll easy picking for the older kids.

I could keep rambling about all of this but I think it's time I call it a day. Thanks for being in my class and making my 8th grade year not as bad as I thought it would be. Bye~!

It's Another Free Blog!

This blog is going to be centered around camp MacLean, which was just 2 days ago. It started off with a boring bus ride that I spent a majority of the time just fiddling with a Rubik's cube that belonged to Mia B. When we arrived most of the girls we're about ready to yell because of how long we had to be in the bus while the boys were unloading the other bus. Right before some of the girls were about to scream we were let out into the fresh air. We all went to our cabins already unpacking and getting ready to start the day's activities.
I'll have to say the activity I enjoyed most was fishing. It was really relaxin and it took away most of my nervousness. Plus I got to witness Mr. Carro and Mr. Atwood trap Andrea with worms that disturbed her to the max. Zip lining was also fun but most of the time I was just waiting in line to go down so it wasn't as fun.
At night it wasn't as great as it could have been. Capture the flag was frustrating because almost all of the girls did nothing to help their teammates and jails weren't a thing because anyone could walk out as they pleased. I also had a panic attack both during and after capture the flag but luckily two of my favorite people were there to help me out and keep me calm. During the camp fire it got a little better and by the time it was done I was feeling a whole lot better. Hearing everyone talk about what they'll miss from Golf was really sweet and enjoyable, especially Selma's speech.
When we all went off to our cabins to sleep, which  was what I was most looking forward to. Sadly, as we all were trying to sleep my nose got completely clogged and I couldn't breath, plus we forgot to turn on the heat. I of course ended up getting sick but the rest of the time at camp was alright. The bus ride back was quiet sorta but I was sniffling the whole time because I couldn't blow my nose, which wasn't fun.
Since I'm still sick and I really want to sleep right now I'm going to end this and go work on my other blog so I can sleep peacefully. Bye-bye~.

Oh The Begging's and Ending's

"Big things often have small beginnings" is a quote that I find to be somewhat true. Most good things that happen always have to start off somewhere, that somewhere can even be a thought that had occurred to you while taking a lovely bath. It can be a word you said or a thing you did that can change anything. Think of it as a tree. Trees often start off as a seed, which develops into a sapling. That sapling would soon grow up to be an oak you would see in a forest. That's how most things are. You can use this quote for almost anything, even this post if you want. It started off with that quote and took off to something more in depth, exapling what it is, or trying to at least. Just remember that you shouldn't give up if something doesn't satisfy you because it didn't go as you planned. Keep trying and what you find unsatisfactory may become something that you'd be proud to call yours.
I'd love to keep talking about this quote but I've things to do so I'll be closing this up. Big things must come to an end just as all things go up must come down. Just start a new thing and keep at what ever you love doing? Bye now.

A Tribute To My Grandmother

Now I'm telling you right now that my grandma is still alive, so this won't be wishy-washy. I just want to write a tribute to her since she's sometimes unappreciated and used but even though I don't show it, I love her.
My grandma is probably one of the most generous people out there. She's the type of person who would take out her grandchildren and get them anything they desired. She loves my siblings and me with all her heart even though we may aggravate her sometimes. She goes out of her way to celebrate everyone's birthday, even if they're  colleagues  at work. She goes above and beyond to make everyone happy which really leaves her exhausted by the end of the day. She's a real trooper for waking up every day at 5 am to go to work and picks up my brother once she gets out of work. Let me tell you my brother is not an easy person to deal with. Another thing I want to appreciate about my grandma is that she always wants to go on trips with me during the summer. She's brought me to Romanian numerous times and has offered to bring me to France and Japan. This year we're going to France so hopefully she'll have a good time.
That's all I have to say right now but I got my message out. My grandma is hard working and needs the appreciation she so much deserves. She is loved and will forever be loved.

It's Complicated

So of course no one's life is going to be perfect. We all have something that isn't easy for us or is just ruining ourselves. Now what I'm talking about in my blog isn't something that's life ruining, but it could cause mix vibes and confusion with those around me.
I am a person who doesn't really mind people to some level. I can tolerate people most of the time and I don't mind when they're around me or want to hang out. It's just that sometimes I get into a mood where people annoy me and I can snap easily at them. I don't necessarily care for anyone so if someone who was once close to me ends up having an issue with me that makes them want to not be associated with me, I could very easily 'drop' them as friends or whatever they are to me. I don't have any attachment to anyone so to say, and I feel that it makes me seem cold hearted but I don't know. I also can't feel any empathy/pity for people when they're crying over they're problems because my mind always goes to "this isn't something someone should cry about. They're so many ways to fix this and crying isn't one of them." If it's something related to a death then I feel my heart is completely stone because I think "It's already happened and you can't do anything so what's the point of crying over it?"
I'm not entirely sure if this is a vent blog or not but it's something that I've told some of my close friends. This is just a topic that I find complicated and confusing. It just makes me self-degrade and that isn't healthy and I know it's stupid that I'm doing it. Anyways, this is kind of a depressing blog so I'll close it up here, bye-bye~!

Hey, It's a Free Blog.

Alright so this week's blog is a free one and I decided I'm going to write about Sherlock. Now I'll have you know Sherlock is one of my favorite shows along side of Superjail and Haikyuu. Unlike Superjail and Haikyuu though, Sherlock has actual actors and isn't a cartoon/anime. Now that I've explained a little about it I'm just going to go ahead and get started.
Sherlock is a show that consist of 4 seasons with 3 episodes that are each about an hour and thirty minutes long. The main characters are Sherlock(Benedict Cumberbatch) and John Watson(Martin Freeman) and it's based off of the Sherlock book series. It's a suspenseful show that knows how to put itself together properly. Sherlock is probably one of the best mystery shows (oh look, an opinion!) you'll find. It includes humor within its plot of solving murders and intense scenes where wise decisions are needed. I can't really describe anymore without giving away spoilers so just check it out for yourself on Netflix or something. I have another blog to write so seeya~.

Cute Blog Post~ (to me at least)

Apparently looking at cute pictures of animals is supposed to boost your productivity so I'm just going to put 3 different animals here that I think are absolutely adorable.
My first animal is going to be a Munchkin Cat, which are cats with tiny little legs and cute little bodies. They're so cute and I have to thank Aleks (http://thedailyprophet364.blogspot.com/, check her out) for showing me these tiny little things.

My next cute animal is going to be a Shiba Inu. Shiba Inu's are Japanese dogs that have curled tails and are usually a tan shade with a white tummy. They're medium sized dogs that have a LOT of energy and are overall friendly dogs. They're most known for the meme 'doge' which is actually a Shiba Inu named Kabosu. Anyways I'm going to put a picture so I can stop talking and get to my final animal.

ALRIGHT! So finally my last animal will beeee *drum roll* .... seal pups! Depending on where they're located, seal pups are most commonly gray or white. Personally, I think the white seal pups are the cutest but some may disagree. They're like big fat blobs of snow with eyes. That was a bad comparison but hopefully you'll get what I mean. I have nothing else to say about them so here are the pictures.

That's about it for now so bye-bye!!!

Field Trips: Camp MacLean

So last year a majority of the 7th graders went to Camp MacLean, a name that I hate spelling because it's spelled one way but pronounced the other. Anyways the trip there was pretty fun, talking about cows and how Tarak's cousin supposedly created about everything. When we got there everyone was a bit confused because of cabins but we sorted it out quick enough. After everyone was sorted we ended up doing some fun activities such as archery, rock climbing, and fishing. In between some of the activities we had lunch and dinner, which was mostly good besides the tomato soup. That was a disaster. Though the bread sticks were probably the best food item there, even though my group kept messing around with them and ended up eating all of the bread sticks they had to serve, oops.
Fun fact: our cabin members agreed we would be a small 'family', and Mia B was supposed to be the one responsible but ended up being least responsible during the night. Speaking of the night, we played capture the flag but it was rigged because the boys put their flag outside the boundary even though they weren't allowed to. It was sorta fun but it could've been better. When we went to rest Mrs.Conejo, our cabin supervisor,  had to go to a meeting thing so she left us alone for a while. It ended up being chaos, but not a first. First, we went in the back to tell ghost stories, but when that failed we played hide n seek. I tried hiding in a suitcase but that didn't work out so well. Then there was the problems with the spiders and moths. Three moths had gotten into our cabin somehow and everyone was panicking, so out of annoyance, I killed a moth by slapping it against the door. Everyone went quiet for a second, but only a second. As soon as they realized I wasn't scared of bugs, it was my duty to kill every single insect in the cabin. I killed as many as I could, but Mia's bed was an infestation of spiders. So what she did was bring her blanket over to the other side of the cabin between Aleks and I's bed, laid some chairs down, and slept there. The ironic part was that Mia was so scared of the spiders but had a blanket that had a spider pattern on it. After that everything else was pretty fun so I have nothing to complain about.
Anyways that was my favorite field trip within the time I've been at Golf. I know this is a really late update, about a week late, but whatever. See you in a few days when I have to update again about 3 famous people I would like to meet. Bye-bye~!

Movie Review~ Featuring: Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events~!!

ALRIGHT everyone buckle up because I'm about to take you on an adventure of a movie from 2004 that made up my childhood. Lemony Snicket's Series of Unfortunate Events is directed by Brad Silberling and included actors and actresses such as Jim Carrey(Count Olaf), Liam Aiken(Klaus Baudelaire), Emily Browning(Violet Baudelaire), and Kara and Shelby Hoffman(Sunny Baudelaire). The film is about 3 very intelligent kids, Violet(14), Klaus(12), and Sunny(3), who try to escape the cruel clutches of their relative, Count Olaf, who would do anything to acquire the inheritance their parents left behind after perishing in a fire. The kids make ways to escape Olaf yet keep themselves alive without any parental supervision, using the resources around them to their personal use in the best ways possible. They go through a lot of hardships and have to face some miserable things but together they get past it.
The film is dark comedy but I can guarantee that it is worth watching(and reading!). I'm not very good at describing things but if you don't believe me check it out for yourself. I'm sad to say I don't know where you can watch the original movie but there's a series on Netflix that's about the same, just in parts and with different actors, obviously. I was fine with the Netflix series but it gives you such a different feel from the original. AnYWAYS, hope you check it out if you haven't already and I'll 'see' you next time I write. Bye-bye~!

Music Music Music

Alright so recently I've been into this one band called 'Two Door Cinema Club,' which I had found accidentally. One day I was sort of just letting youtube play songs since I was too distracted with homework and didn't want to bother changing the songs, which were pretty decent. A song comes on and I immediately recognized it, not because I've listened to it before, but because I've seen an edit that had used that song. I checked the name of the song and it's name was Undercover Martyn. I took an instant liking to their music and began listening to more of their songs. Right now my favorite songs from them are Something Good Can Work, Cigarettes in the Theater, and Undercover Martyn. They have other great songs but those are the ones that especially appeal to me. I've linked all the songs down below plus some of my other favorites so enjoy~! See ya next time I decide to write in my own blog.

Tribute to Barack Obama

Personally I think you were a decently good president because you had legalized gay marriage, which is probably one of the greatest things to have happened next to women's rights and the end of slavery. Sure you have had your bad moments where some of your choices weren't the best they could have been, but not everyone is perfect, right? Your wife, Michelle Obama, had come up with the 'Let's Move' movement to help cut down obesity in children. She had healthy meal recipes with health shakes and encouraged kids to get active instead of siting around. I would say you'd be lucky to have a caring wife such as her, caring for not only herself and her family, but for everyone else too. Some people may argue that you weren't a very good president or that the health care system wasn't a great idea, but in the end they're all opinions that can't change what has already happened. I'm sad that your time in office has come to an end but we'll try and see what the future has in store for us, not forgetting what you've done. Best of luck in the world, now bye-bye~.
